WORSHIP IN CUBA
Last Sunday morning I worshiped with the congregation in Taguasco.
We sang songs of praise, offered prayers, gave an offering, and passed the peace with one another.
I was honored to be asked to bring the message. Fortunately for the congregation, I had an interpreter.
Some older women in this church kept the doors open throughout the period from the revolution until the Cuban government recognized the value of the churches in Cuba. Until the 1990s Cuba was an atheist country, according to its constitution.
In recent years, this and other congregations in Cuba are growing.
This congregation gives glory to God on Sunday morning and throughout the week. It serves its community in many ways. Soon they will have a water purification system to provide safe, clean water for their community
