THE WIND WASN’T AGAINST US

John and I enjoyed a delightful bicycle ride on New Smyrna Beach yesterday afternoon.

Oftentimes when we ride, the wind will be against us one way or the other.

We have learned to start off in the direction that is facing into the wind, so the leg out is the most difficult and the wind is at our back on our return. Ask us how we learned to do that.

Yesterday, there was very little wind, which made the ride quite nice. It was a cool and cloudy afternoon. Not many people were on the beach and only a few were in the water, but it sure is nice to live in Florida in the wintertime.

May the wind be at your back. Or, even better sometimes, no wind at all.
