HIS FAVORITE THING IS WRAPPING PRESENTS

I am blessed with knowing a 7-year-old friend, Kyler. His favorite thing to do at Christmastime is to wrap presents.

This is so different than most children his age. If asked, most kids would answer their favorite thing is just the opposite. Unwrap presents.

Kyler always has a smile on his face. He is a smart, fun-loving kid, with a twinkle in his eyes and a bounce in his step.

Kyler enjoys giving. He’ll run up to you and give you a hug. He enjoys helping when there is something to do.

I didn’t ask him why he likes wrapping presents (more than opening them) but I imagine it has to do with the joy he gets when he helps others be happy, like he is.

Oh, I also imagine Kyler will be giggling and delighting when he opens his presents, on Christmas morning, like all the rest of us, but isn’t it great that he also gets joy in wrapping up and giving presents to others.
